Olivia de Haulleville

Olivia de Haulleville at Mt. Shasta (Northern California)

After Eric de Haulleville’s death at Saint-Paul-de-Vence, his wife, Rose, remarried an American and near the end of the War emigrated to the USA to live near her sister, Maria Nys - wife to Aldous Huxley. After sharing a house in Hollywood with Lena Horne, Rose followed Aldous & Maria to the S. CA. Desert where Aldous Huxley wrote his only children's story: The Crows of Pearblossm2 dedicated to Olivia, Eric de Hauleville’s only daughter.

Later, Olivia de Haulleville proved to be a great wanderer. For 20 years, she covered Europe, India, Nepal, Japan & Java (See: Pilgrimage to Java by Olivia de Haulleville. See also article "Hi-Desert Star". She now resides in the Mojave Desert S. California living and writing in permanent spiritual quest.

Olivia de Haulleville has written her autobiography : The fairy's tale : an autobiography, first published in 1983, dedicated to the tibetan lamas and balinese musicians.
